Originally from Hanoi, Vietnam—a city abundant in rich, diverse flavours—I now live in the UK with my husband and three kids. My passion for cooking and presenting food beautifully started young. I took over cooking duties for my family at age 11, as my parents worked full-time and my sister preferred doing the dishes. Since then, my love for creating meals has only grown.
I love sharing recipes that are easy to make, full of flavours, and perfect for everyday cooking.
A little bit more about me
When I moved to the UK, my cooking creativity truly blossomed. I continued making Vietnamese dishes but had to adapt when some ingredients weren’t available in local supermarkets. I remember making tofu from scratch because the shop-bought options didn’t quite match my taste, and I even grow Vietnamese herbs in my garden to bring authentic flavours to our meals. Over time, it’s become easier to find these ingredients, thanks to the growing popularity of Vietnamese cuisine in the UK.
I love sharing Vietnamese recipes with friends and often invite them over to experience our food. This blog is a way to make sharing recipes easier and to reach even more people who want to explore new flavors at home.
While Vietnamese food is my specialty, I also enjoy experimenting with Thai, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese cuisine (and the list keeps growing), always adding my own twist to make it family-friendly. I’m also passionate about baking and am constantly working on new skills to perfect my cakes.
